Six Available Rack Styles
Tradesman builds all Commercial Max and Oval range racks in six distinct styles to suit a wide range of applications:
Tent Style – specifically designed for rooftop tents
Closed Ends Front or Rear – closed on one end, open on the other
Standard Open End – side rails with open ends
Corrosion Protection: Zinc Electroplating
Before powder coating, the entire steel rack is fully zinc electroplated to 10–12 microns — similar to the treatment applied to outdoor gate hinges. Any scratches that reach the steel are protected at their edges by the zinc plating, which acts as a barrier to prevent corrosion from spreading and causing paint to blister or peel. The result is a roof rack that looks better after five years and maintains its structural integrity, making it ideal for tradesmen who work and play in salt-air environments and need the toughness of steel for heavy or regular loads.
Colour Options
The Commercial Max and Oval ranges are available in Satin Black (gloss finish) or Matte Black (textured flat matt black). Both options are the same cost and offer equivalent durability and UV protection.
