The REDARC BCDC1250D is a 12V, 50A in-vehicle DC-to-DC battery charger and the most powerful model in REDARC's BCDC range. It represents the next generation of REDARC in-vehicle charging technology, capable of charging from solar and DC inputs simultaneously.
Featuring a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, the BCDC1250D charges from both solar and the alternator at the same time. With built-in Green Power Priority, it selects solar charging first — reducing the load on your alternator and saving fuel.
Suitable for 12V or 24V vehicle systems, the unit works with both standard and variable/smart alternators. The BCDC1250D features patented charging profiles along with a dedicated lithium charging profile, making it suitable for AGM, Gel, Standard Lead Acid, Calcium and LiFePO₄ batteries.

For most applications, the BCDC1225D is suited to battery bank sizes of 75–200AH. For higher capacity needs over 200AH, REDARC recommends the BCDC1250D.

Mounting Brackets
In addition to quality fuse kits, REDARC offers a range of vehicle-specific mounting brackets for the BCDC DC-DC Charger range. The 304 stainless steel bracket allows installation towards the front of the vehicle for cooler airflow, ensuring optimal performance. Brackets are designed to fit existing mounting points in the vehicle.
