The AE4704B is the antenna included in the XRS™ Connect 4WD Pack, which pairs it with the XRS-370C Compact UHF CB Radio for a complete outback communications solution. XRS™ Connect products are software-upgradable via the XRS™ Connect app, with GME committed to releasing at least one upgrade per year. Through the app, you can create and share scan lists, manage channel profiles, and access the full AU/NZ registered analogue frequency database directly from your phone.

UHF CB radios are widely used for communication in vehicles, boats, and during outdoor activities such as camping and hiking. They are available in three main power outputs: 5-watt, 1-watt, and 0.5-watt. Five-watt radios provide the greatest range — up to 20 km in good conditions — and are favoured by professional drivers, emergency services, and those travelling long distances. One-watt radios cover up to 5 km and suit personal and short-range vehicle-to-vehicle communication. Half-watt radios are best for close-range use within a small group, covering up to 1 km.
