The Bushranger Winch Recovery Kit gives you complete peace of mind on the trail. Best suited to a 10,000lb winch, this kit carries everything you need to get yourself unstuck and back home safely. The compact bag contains a 9m × 8,000kg snatch strap, 11,000kg tree trunk protector, 10m × 5,500kg winch extension strap, 2 × 3.25t and 2 × 4.75t bow shackles, 11,000kg snatch block, recovery damper, and a pair of gloves.
All Bushranger straps are engineered and manufactured to the highest quality standards — Australian tested both in a NATA accredited lab and in real 4WD field conditions. Every strap features reinforced protective eyelets for maximum strength when used with shackles and hooks, strap usage recording tags so you can log and track fatigue over time, an integrated wrap-it strap for easy storage, and full compliance with the Australian Consumer Goods (Motor Vehicle Recovery Strap) Safety Standard 2017.
Snatch straps are purpose-designed to stretch under intense loads from a moving recovery vehicle. Kinetic energy combined with the elastic properties of the strap work together to pull a disabled vehicle free.
In a recovery situation, wrapping cable, rope, or chain directly around a tree damages both your recovery equipment and the tree. The tree trunk protector provides a secure recovery attachment point while fully protecting the anchor tree.
Winch extension straps extend the reach of your winch cable when the anchor point is beyond the standard cable length.
The included snatch block allows you to change the direction of your winch pull or double the pulling power of your winch when needed.
In the event of a strap or cable failure, the recovery damper absorbs most of the stored energy, significantly reducing recoil and causing the line to drop to the ground rather than snap back dangerously. Manufactured from heavy-duty reinforced PVC, the damper features reflective tape for night-time recoveries, internal weight pockets with an extra pocket for additional weight, and wide Velcro tabs for quick set-up and pack-away.
