From the world leaders in wireless communication, the Escape Pack delivers everything you need for reliable in-vehicle UHF communications — engineered for rugged Australian and New Zealand conditions.
The UH6060 is a compact, trade-quality UHF radio built for the professional who needs to stay in contact with the outside world. Ideal for 4WD operators and caravan travellers, it brings together premium components, engineering, and styling you would expect from Uniden.
Equipped with a Remote Speaker Microphone featuring a built-in backlit LCD screen, the UH6060 allows flexible control of all functions remotely. One-touch Instant, Call, Mon, and EMG buttons on the mic put the most important functions right at your fingertips. The base unit features a 7-colour LCD backlight, allowing you to match the display colour to your vehicle's interior.
The UH6060 delivers 5-watt transmission power across all 80 UHF narrowband channels. Additional capabilities include Dual Watch and Duplex for extended range, Open/Group Scan with Priority Watch, Adjustable Auto Squelch, and CTCSS/DSC codes for private group communication. A Quick Release Bracket is included, and the radio is backed by a 5-year warranty.
The 6.6dBi AT780 antenna included in the pack features a fibreglass whip on an elevated feed with a stainless steel spring — a solid choice for heavy usage in tough off-road environments. It operates on 477MHz UHF-CB and is ground independent. The pack includes 5m of low-loss coaxial cable terminated with an FME Female connector and PL259 adaptor. The whip length is 600mm with a mounted height of 883mm.
