The iLX-W770A is the 7″ touchscreen display multimedia receiver — the successor to the legendary iLX-W650E radio — with sonic enhancements including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Crafted with a cutting-edge design and an ultra-shallow chassis, it allows for easier installation and fitment into a wider range of vehicles.
PrismaLink allows more lighting flexibility than ever before with full customisation of PrismaLink compatible devices (sold separately). The ultra-shallow chassis design also makes way to add on the compact KTA-450 or KTA-200M Power Pack amplifier (sold separately), which mounts directly onto the back of the chassis. This revolutionary space-saving design delivers incredible power output and dynamic sound — making the PowerStack duo an industry first, honoured with the prestigious 2019 CES Innovation Award.
Apple CarPlay brings your apps to life through the display. Listen to your favourite music apps such as Spotify or Tidal, make calls, get directions with maps, receive messages and see your calendar — all while using the display or voice control.
The convenience of Android Auto lets you bring an ever-expanding range of apps into your dashboard. From either the display or voice command you can make calls, send and receive messages, play music apps or set a destination via Google Maps or Waze.
Retain the full functionality of your steering wheel controls for effortless control of the iLX-W770A. A third-party steering wheel control adaptor with a 3.5mm output lead is required (compatible with most vehicles).

Apple CarPlay brings your iPhone's Calendar schedule to your dashboard so you can stay up-to-date with future events and important dates whilst on the road. If a calendar event includes a location, simply select it from the display and Apple CarPlay will launch Maps with voice-guided directions.
Android Auto provides a simple yet convenient tab to display incoming notifications such as text messages and phone calls. Incoming text messages automatically notify you via the display, and you can browse recent messages, preview message text or play the message via text-to-speech.

The innovative ultra-shallow chassis design — spanning just 68mm in depth — creates a practical solution for vehicles with restricted space behind the dashboard. This design stacks perfectly with the KTA-450 Power Pack Amplifier (sold separately), which sits directly behind the iLX-W770A. The combined PowerStack length is less than the depth of a standard 2-DIN chassis — ideal for vehicles with tight spaces behind the dash. The KTA-450 features Alpine's exclusive Dynamic Peak Power (DPP) technology, producing 400 watts without the bulk of a traditional amplifier.
A 3A USB port provides super-fast charging and a multitude of source options, including iPod, iPhone, memory sticks and other devices, with playback of FLAC, MP3, MP4, AAC, AVI, WMA, WMV and MOV file types.
