Focal Power Packs — VW Golf 6.2

The VW Golf Focal 6.2 Pack delivers a complete hi-fi audio upgrade engineered specifically for the Volkswagen Golf. It combines a front component kit, rear coaxial kit, a pair of under-seat subwoofers, and a four-channel digital amplifier with dedicated VW harnesses — a fully matched system in a single bundle.

Note: This powered pack will NOT suit vehicles fitted with factory premium or amplified audio.

Front — IS VW 165 Component Kit

The IS VW 165 2-way component kit is designed for drivers who want to replace their original audio system with a hi-fi quality sound solution. The speaker drivers employ Polyglass technology, which delivers well-defined midrange and bass. The sound is natural and without coloration. The aluminium inverted dome tweeter — a Focal technology — provides perfect treble reproduction in every direction. Tweeter mounting foams and anti-vibration foams are included for a perfect setup.

Rear — IC VW 165 Coaxial Kit

The IC VW 165 2-way coaxial kit is designed for drivers who want to replace their original audio system with a hi-fi quality sound solution. The speaker drivers employ Polyglass technology, which delivers well-defined midrange and bass. The sound is natural and without coloration. The aluminium inverted dome tweeter — a Focal technology — provides perfect treble reproduction in every direction. Tweeter mounting foams and anti-vibration foams are included for a perfect setup.

Subwoofer — ISUB TWIN

The pair of ISUB TWIN passive subwoofers dramatically improves bass impact in an in-car audio installation, thanks to double ferrite speaker drivers and a heavy-duty, tough aluminium cone. The front grilles promote optimum sound dispersion throughout the cabin.

These ultra-compact subwoofers are quick and easy to install without any car modifications required. They slide comfortably underneath the seats and are very easy to attach with no tools required, using the self-adhesive strips provided. They can also be screwed to the floor if preferred.

We recommend powering the ISUB TWIN with the Impulse 4.320 — its two front channels remain available to connect a pair of speaker drivers in the front doors.

Amplifier — Impulse 4.320

Give your head unit a breath of fresh air. Head unit amplifiers — whether OEM or aftermarket — soon reveal their limits in terms of power and dynamics. At high volume they saturate and ruin the listening experience. The Impulse 4.320 is the ideal solution: it gives your installation a boost without requiring a complex installation process.

Harnesses

The Focal Inside Volkswagen Y-ISO Harness (IW-VW YISO HARNESS) is designed for the Impulse 4.320 compact 4-channel digital amplifier. It allows quick and simple connection of the Volkswagen original head unit to Focal Inside extension cables.

The Focal Inside IW IMP 2.2 adaptation cable is also designed for the Impulse 4.320 compact 4-channel digital amplifier. It allows the Impulse 4.320 to be easily connected to two front channels and a subwoofer (via two bridged channels), such as the PSB 200, without changing the original wiring.
