There are 6 different panel types available to accommodate different speaker types and the 2 different door sizes.

Upgrade your sound system with these LandCruiser Door Speaker Pods, available in six different panel configurations to suit both Dual Cab/Wagon and Single Cab/Troopy models of the Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series. Whether you're fitting 6″, 6×9″, or 6″ split/component speakers, there is a pod to match your setup perfectly.

Each speaker pod is designed for a factory-style fit with no unnecessary modifications, offering a clean solution to enhance your audio quality while keeping your interior neat and OEM-looking.

For Dual Cab & Wagon (Short Panel):

ASV79-6D – For standard 6″ speakers
ASV79-6x9D – For 6×9″ speakers
ASV79-6CD – For 6″ split/component speakers

For Single Cab & Troopy (Long Panel):

ASV79-6S – For standard 6″ speakers
ASV79-6x9S – For 6×9″ speakers
ASV79-6CS – For 6″ split/component speakers

Fitment Notes

The 79 Series refers to the latest LandCruiser body style and is available in 2-door, 4-door, and Troopy variants. The 75 and 76 Series share the same door configuration but are older models. These panels are required for any 70 Series variant that does not have a quarter glass window in the front doors, as full-window doors do not provide sufficient depth for direct speaker mounting.

All 79 Series vehicles have a full window and will need these panels. The pods will also fit older 75 and 76 Series models, providing a much better finish than mounting a speaker directly into the door skin.

If your vehicle has factory door pockets, they can be removed from the original door card and refitted to these panels. If your vehicle does not have door pockets, they can be sourced from your Toyota dealer as spare parts.

Vehicles without a quarter glass window in the front doors lack sufficient depth for direct speaker mounting — these pods resolve that problem neatly.

Which panel do I need for my 79 Series Dual Cab?

You need one of the short-panel (D-suffix) variants: ASV79-6D for standard 6″ speakers, ASV79-6x9D for 6×9″ speakers, or ASV79-6CD for 6″ split/component speakers.

Will these pods fit a 75 or 76 Series LandCruiser?

Yes. The 75 and 76 Series share the same door configuration as the 79 Series, and these panels fit those models as well.

Can I keep my factory door pockets?

Yes. If your vehicle has factory door pockets, they can be unclipped from the original door card and refitted to the speaker pod panel.

Do I need these panels even if my doors already have speaker holes cut in them?

If your front doors do not have a quarter glass window, there is not enough depth to mount a speaker directly into the door. These pods provide the required depth and a much better finish than a direct door skin mount.
