5-watt UHF CB radios are the most powerful and have the most extended range of the three options. They are best suited for long-range communication and are often used by professional drivers, emergency services, and people who travel long distances. With a 5-watt UHF CB radio, you can communicate over a distance of up to 20 km (12 miles) in good conditions.
1-watt UHF CB radios are less powerful and have a shorter range than 5-watt radios. They are more commonly used for personal and short-range communication between vehicles or groups of people. With a 1-watt UHF CB radio, you can communicate over a distance of up to 5 km (3 miles) in good conditions.
