The Bushranger Snatch Recovery Kit — Standard is a 4×4 essential for any driver. The kit packs a 9m × 8,000kg snatch strap, 2 × 3.25t bow shackles, and a pair of protective gloves into a compact, durable bag with extra pockets for your other recovery gear.
Bushranger snatch straps are engineered and manufactured to the highest quality standards. All Bushranger straps are Australian tested both in a NATA accredited lab and in real 4WD field conditions. Snatch straps are purpose-designed to stretch under intense loads from a moving recovery vehicle — kinetic energy combined with the elastic properties of the strap work together to pull a disabled vehicle free.

A snatch strap is an elastic nylon strap designed to stretch under load. As the recovery vehicle drives forward and takes up the slack, kinetic energy stored in the stretched strap pulls the stuck vehicle free — without the shock loads of a rigid tow rope.
The Standard kit includes an 8,000kg snatch strap and 3.25t shackles, while the Heavy Duty kit steps up to an 11,000kg snatch strap and 4.75t shackles. Choose the Heavy Duty version for larger or heavier 4WD vehicles.
